In pursuit of inspiration

Cookie packages! I'm thinking of selling packages like these at the Baker's Market. What do you guys think? Is packaging ok, or kind of sloppy? Let me know! I love feedback :)

On a separate, highly exciting note!!!!!!!

My dear friend Deepak called me from New Brunswick the other day! It was delightful, to say the least, because I hadn't spoken to him since he went for training to become an RCMP officer last spring. Right after, he moved to New Brunswick with his fiancee. So it was both a surprise and exciting to hear from him. He called for a number of reasons:
1. like clockwork, he always calls to check up on me and the boy situation
2. he called to see if I was free for his wedding in October!!!!! and
3. he wanted to know if I would make his wedding cake for him!

I haven't made a wedding cake in years - 2.5 to be exact. Moreover, there are going to be over 200 ppl at this wedding and I just don't have the resources, I said. But it was really sweet, he wanted me to make the cake that would be cut and everyone could eat a sheet cake that he bought from somewhere - he didn't care, he just wanted the personal touch that I could give it. :) Talk about a tugged heart string! I'm thinking about it - I told him I'd see how I felt this weekend after making Ingrid's tiered, fondant covered cake before I made a decision. He also said I could do anything I wanted and that Heidi didn't really have any strong opinions about the cake either. Sooooo....I'm really leaning towards yes, because it will be so much fun. The only downside is that I have school during that time......eeke!!
